I have the greatest family ever...

On Saturday (8/16/08) we went over to Star Valley where my grandparents live for a little family gathering. It was really fun and I loved it. These are a few pictures of my grandparents with their great grandkids (Megan and Jaxon's little girl Courtney was missing) and also with my grandparents own kids (my aunt Rosalie is missing in those pics). There is a pic in there of my cousin Sam who is leaving on his mission in a little over a month to El Salvador/San Salvador and Beliz. And of course my brother Andy who is always trying to hog the attention.
It was a great day that was jam packed with excitement...Read on for more information. Thanks to Tammy and David for planning the day. It was good eats and good memories. Sorry to those that left before we took pics. It was bad timing.
I really do love my extended family and hope we can get together more often. It is always so much fun!!

The Best Slip 'n Slide EVER!!

You may wonder about this slip and slide and what it says...My uncle Dave was given an old billboard banner and so they use it as a slip n' slide. This one says "Busch Light" weekend. It has girls in bikinis on it and it was the BEST slip n' slide I have ever been on. Thank goodness my grandparents live on a big hill and we can put the beer banner on the front lawn for all of Star Valley to enjoy. It was a great time. **The outfits by the way were contributed by our grandma. They had made such "cute" outfits out of them before I got there so I just borrowed some stuff lying around. That is my brother Andy and my cousin Jaxon. We are a very special family what can I say?

Stinking it up in the Sulphurs

After the main meal and a good ride down the redneck slip n' slide, my brother (Andy) and three cousins (Sam, Jaxon, and Paige) convinced Cambree and I to come to the sulphur hot pots for a little dip. They are so smelly and gross. The water may be warm, but honestly what was I thinking???? Four showers later and I still smell like the tip of a match--no wonder people didn't want to get close to me at church.
Also, the water is about the consistency of 1% milk and there is slippery clay all over the bottom. Which makes getting around super fun. Andy retrieved an old hard hat that my Uncle Dave had found earlier in the day and he posed for a grand picture. It was good times, but seriously? What was I thinking?
