The craziest things...

As you can see, Brinlee FINALLY decided to be brave and get her ears pierced. She has wanted earrings like Cambree for a long, long time but was too scared to get them pierced. Our little friend Piper had her ears pierced on Valentine's day and when Brinlee heard this, she gained enough courage to finally get hers done too!

A funny side note: It made Cambree a little pouty since Brinlee was getting all the attention and she sulked for half the day... Just when she was getting over it, we were in the car and Brinlee pipes up from the back and says "Mom, remember that I got my ears pierced today?" And, we started all over again with Cambree saying that we never paid attention to her when she got hers done. Oh the drama....

To top off Brin's weekend of excitement, she lost her 1st tooth!! She was thrilled about her little tooth and couldn't wait to put it under her pillow. Cambree was a lot more supportive of this event than the last... This is a picture of our two toothless girlies. We are in quite the stages around here. One child is getting teeth and two are losing teeth.

Mike thought he would pull a gag on the girls and get them these large pencils. They think they are the most wonderful things ever. So far they have done homework with them and have taken them to school for show and tell. What fun.

And now our "Adventure's in Aidan-Sitting"! These couple of pictures are of the haircut I just gave our little fella. I couldn't stand the long unkempt baby hair anymore, so I took it upon myself to cut it off. It turned out just fine and I am thinking it will be much more boyish looking. *A side note to this adventure is: Cutting hair on a 13 month old is NOT a lot of fun...

A new place for Aidan to explore is the top of the bunkbeds. It isn't super cool. He thinks it is, but his mom isn't really thrilled with it! In fact, we are now down to only one room with the door left open during the day and that is his own room. Today he actually fell off the top bunk and that was the last straw. I am getting so worn out chasing this child around keeping him off things. The things he now climbs are: Up on the back of the toilet, the top bunkbed, the computer chair which puts him at perfect level to climb and sit on the computer desk, the middle of the kitchen table, etc... What am I going to do!?!? Hopefully he doesn't learn to open doors soon since I can keep him out of all the rooms right now. Fun times ahead I can assure you!
