Our week in review

Wow! Sometimes time can really fly by...not that we are doing much lately...you know, the winter cold and whatnot, but time really does move quickly. Here are this week's highlights:
Last Sunday, we went to a baptism open house for Cambree...She will be 8 this fall and baptized! Crazy!!
Then, we came home and the girls went into the bathroom to wash their hands and our little shadow that follows everyone around was right behind them...only to be shut out of the bathroom and have his poor little hand smashed in the door by the hinges. It was very tramatic for mother and son alike. It looks much better now, but I thought we might have to have medical attention for it.
Monday was a day out of school because of Human Rights day and so, I did my normal Monday cleaning and the girls helped out by washing baseboards and walls! They didn't complain at all and the walls haven't looked better.

We have had a routine since last fall with my cousin Jordan. He comes out on Wednesday nights and does laundry and stays for dinner and plays with the kids...also helping Cambree with her homework. It is a great evening for us...we aren't too sure how he really feels about it, but he keeps coming back and my kids LOVE him to pieces! (If any of you know a cute single girl, this kid would be a CATCH!!)

Aidan is at it again...well, he never really stops! My house will never be the same I have decided. This boy is really rocking our world around here!!!

And, finally...every morning, I get Cam up, get her ready, put her on the bus and then I get in the shower. At some point Brin and Aidan wake up and they just hang out while I get finished getting ready for the day. What great kids...Brin is watching TV by the way.

Do you wash your walls and baseboards every Monday Mrs. Clean? I am such a slob by your standards (okay, so I'm probably just a slob anyway)! I know a cute, sweet, single girl, how old is Jordan? Cute pictures of the kids! I have some similar to the one of Brin and Aidan on the bed in the morning, there is just something about being able to lay in Mom and Dad's bed apparently. I also love the new background, I need to do a little refreshing on mine!

Cute pics. Love the idea of washing walls. I threatened my kids with that the other day and they were screaming in horror. I think it might work as punishment for my kids. Glad Brin is feeling better and yes, you need a hair thing holder like me. Maybe it's what you'll get for your b-day! :)(oh now, isn't that exciting?!)

Can your girls come and help clean my house?? What great kids. Poor Aiden with the whole hand smashing incident. That is not fun.

Wow-I thought I was a clean freak! You really go to the extreme. It's not a bad thing. Aidan sure has had his fill of head bumps and now his poor hand. I hope it is feeling better. Cute, cute kids!

I am officially offended. You never call me. It hurts... not as bad as Aidan's fingers but it hurts none the less. And your girls are adorable and I love that they obey you. Maybe I should teach my kids to obey...
