Home again, home again...

Well, after many days and nights spent at my parent's house for the holidays we are finally home and it feels strange to be back into some what of a normal home life. Christmas was good. Here is a BRIEF run down of it all...

Cambree lost her 1st top tooth on the 18th and was so excited to go to school on Friday to get on the "tooth chart"...and, wouldn't you know it...school was cancelled. This happened to her in the spring too. She lost her tooth on the very last day of school after it was let out for summer vacation. So, hopefully she can still get on the tooth chart when they go back to school. She lost her other top tooth on Christmas night. So, the tooth fairy came for a visit the night after Santa and she was thrilled. Her goal was to have them both come on Christmas Eve, but this was just as good.

We got a Wii for Christmas and Brinlee is a PRO bowler! She gets more strikes than anyone I know. She loves it and we all have a lot of fun playing it. (I will try to take a picture of her playing soon!)
Aidan was such a joy the whole trip...NOT! Okay, he really wasn't terrible. He learned how to go down stairs which was nice--still needs some practice though. He also thought that he needed to wake up in the middle of the night EVERY night, which was just super for all of us. I wonder if this new drinking habit he has is the reason behind it all...Mtn. Dew anyone?

We had a really fun trip and wonderful Christmas/New Year and my kids loved every minute. They are ready for school to start again so that is good. It will be nice to have some routine back in our lives...

Happy New Year! Sounds like Brinlee and Annalie would be great friends- we also got a Wii, and Anni has shown this knack for bowling that was unkown before. :)

Glad that you had a great trip. You have somewhat missed all of the great windy days that we have had. I love the picture of the missing teeth. :)

Hey, you're back! I'm glad you had a good holiday! HELLO - give the boy Mountain Dew what are you thinking?! Okay I know it was not for real. We got a Wii too and Harleigh is beating everyone at our house in bowling. It has been a lot of fun. We should get the girls together and play. I'm glad the tooth fairy found you while you were away, it's terrible when she forgets!! Happy New Year!!

I am glad you had a good Christmas. Your Christmas cards were very cute. I was a slacker this year and didn't even do cards. Cambree looks too cute without her teeth.

Hey! I have really missed blogging with you. I have been out of it. We have been around but the blogging has slacked! The tooth fairy came to our house too and boy were we excited we had to leave her coookies and milk out just like Santa! But I really didn't mind! I was amazed though at what that tiny fairy could eat! She is amazing! So next year we need to swap addresses for Christmas cards. I have been trying to be a good card sender because we love getting Christmas cards! We will be in touch! Glad you had a great Christmas!

Amen to ROUTINE! I think I need the routine more than anyone. Hope you liked your christmas present from us. It wasn't ALL my idea, just so you know. I'm not the ONLY nerdy one! ;o) Gotta love the Wii, I think we're the only ones who don't have it yet! Ugh. Oh well.

It is so hard to come home and have no one take care of you! At least that is how I feel after coming home from my mom's house. Anyway, looks and sounds like you guys had a great time! We will definitely have to get together and play soon, you are always welcome to come play at our "indoor playground"! I actually probably can't call it that until I add the sand box, give me a couple of weeks:). The picture of your kids in the snow is so cute!

It looks like you've got Aiden hooked on caffeine at an early age!! Ok, I have to say my kids love pepsi, but I only give it to them once in a while and not after 2:00 in the afternoon! Sounds like you guys had a fun Christmas. We will have to get together again and let our kids play.
