This is the season beloved of the year...

The Christmas season is upon us and we are so excited!! The girls are going to participate in a Christmas program at school. However, the school has gotten so big that they have to divide it up and have it on two different nights. So, we will be enjoying the same program both nights with different children. Aren't we the luckiest??? Actually, we are pretty fortunate because it is a great way to start the holiday season.

Poor little Aidan thinks that Christmas is a punishment. He just wants to touch the lovely red glass ornaments, but every time he gets close to the tree he is told NO. He will be so thrilled to see this season over and done with.

Aidan has started taking steps and is the cutest thing around! However, he is still VERY unsteady and is crashing into things more and more. Not fun...This is from last night's accident. It was from one of our door frames...I am amazed at what babies can live through.

Holy smokes that's a good one. MckEnzie has a great big black eye from one of her accidents just the other day. Looks like it doesn't stop when they are steady on their feet. I am so jealous of you getting to go to the program TWICE. You lucky dog!

So cute! I love Christmas time!
I have read the Host. I really liked that one, too. Found out this weekend that it's also supposed to be a series! Very cool...
Yeah, our trip to the zoo was an extension of the one at the house. =) But that's what makes family trips what they are, I've learned. =)

I noticed the girl's pretty Christmas dresses on Sunday. Isn't it a blast trying to keep Aiden and Tahlia from getting into the tree. Oh well. Tis the season to be jolly. (Even if the ornaments somehow get off the tree)

Your girls are so cute and Aiden looks like a handful with getting into things. I guess that's what boys do, huh?? It was fun getting together the other night. We will have to do that again. I think it was good for Alex and Ben to play with girls. They don't get to be around girls very much!
