Dance Recital and Crib Escapes!

Cambree and Brinlee had their final dance recital last Wednesday and it was a smashing success. They did very well and looked so cute in their shirts and costumes. Brinlee's costume was itchy and uncomfortable for her and she let me know it time and again, but she still performed and did a great job. They are excited for next year already! They LOVE dance!! *Side note: I was helping with the music and unable to take pics or video and Mike was in charge. These are the ONLY pics we got of the whole night...But, he did video the performance so that counts for something right???

Today I thought to myself that Aidan had been sleeping an awful long time for his nap. So, I decided to go wake the little fella. Well, when I opened the door to his room, he wasn't in his crib and his blankets were in front of the door. His closet was open and I called his name (because it is a strange feeling walking into a baby's room and not seeing them where they should be) and he peeked at me from around the closet door with a huge smile on his face as he was pulling out every diaper in there. My heart sank as I realized that he can now climb out of the crib. I placed him back in the crib to see how exactly he did such a thing. Yes, he is very tall...yes, the crib mattress is on the lowest setting and yes the rail is at the highest setting. Now what?!?!

Courtney just started crawling out of things last week. I totally expected her to do it sooner, but I am so glad she didn't. I think I will just shed a little tear for you and wish you luck.

The girls look cute! Have you tried taking the bumper pad out and seeing if he can still get out? I had to take ours out because the kids were using it to climb out and ripping it!! Other than that, I don't know, you kids are little monkeys!

Your girls look adorable. I am not looking forward to the day Dawson can get out of his crib. It is kind of nice when you can trap them in somewhere. He is a cute little guy.
