Last week we went on a little fall photo shoot with Mic and her kids. It was so fun and went quite well. This is the end result and I was pretty happy. Let me know what you like best....

Happy Birthday to MJ

Mike's birthday is October 3rd and we are so excited to wish him a very happy birthday. A couple of weeks ago I was husband tagged but I decided to wait until his birthday to reply so that I could fill everyone in on those things on his "special" day! Here are a few things about Mike...
*He is the middle child of 5.
*He loves to camp/hunt/fish/shoot guns--you know, everything "manly".
*His name is Michael James--so I call him "MJ".
*He laughs out loud while watching TV.
*He works 2 jobs and sells plasma 2 times a week. He works so hard for his family.
*He has two adoring girls (that are super tough because he doesn't let them be wimpy!) and a baby boy who loves him too!
*He served a mission in the Mississippi, Jackson Mission (which initials are his initials MJM).
*He has many friends--quite a few from high school that he is still pretty close to.
*We met during my 2nd year of college and he wooed me with pizza, jelly roll pens, and a hockey game where he scrambled for a hockey puck to give me as a souvenier. Three months later, we were engaged. (We just celebrated 10 years.)
*His favorite things are: The Simpson's, playing the computer, Calvin and Hobbes, Bathroom Readers, sci-fi novels, the season fall and meatloaf.

Mike is a wonderful husband and dad. We love him so much and we want him to have a very happy birthday! One thing that Mike does NOT like is to have the Birthday song sung to him. But, he suffers through for the sake of his children. Happy Birthday MJ! We love you!

Aidan can....

This is a little early since Aidan won't be 9 months until 14th of this month. However, there are several tricks that I must record...Aidan can now:
Stand up to EVERYTHING!
Get into EVERYTHING! Open drawers, some cupboards, etc...
Graduated to a big carseat.
And as of yesterday, he started clapping his hands...How exciting!!!
So, just a reason to celebrate. We sure do love this little guy!

Is it any wonder...

Is it any wonder that our kids are a little on the wild and crazy side of life? Would you just look at what their parents do to them for a little laugh? This is how we fight as a family. We draw on each other's faces...Yes, it is washable markers...No, I am not sure that we are sane around here and yes, I know I shouldn't blog this and admit the craziness that goes on behind closed doors.

The problem...

This is the problem with being a baby boy in a household of sisters...They think that this kind of stuff is just HI-larious. It doesn't help that their mom also thinks it is funny...but just the fact that dad thinks it is mean makes us want to do it a little more. If only to tease the men in our lives...

Happy Birthday to our sweet Cambree

Cambree turns 7 today and she couldn't be more excited. She has informed EVERYONE that it is her birthday today--including her bus driver!! Here are 7 fun things about Cambree:

#7--She has ALWAYS loved her birthdays! She counts down starting the day after the last one.
#6--Cambree loves EVERYTHING in life!
#5--She is willing to try anything--except some foods...
#4--She wakes up happy EVERY morning and is excited about the day.
#3--She is always kind to everyone.
#2--She tries very hard to always do what is right--she even reports every time she peeks during a prayer.
#1--Cambree brings joy to everyone she meets. She is always happy and friendly and loves to make new friends!
We love Cambree very much and feel so fortunate to have her in our family! Happy birthday Cam!
