Not only can Brinlee draw smiley faces on her own belly, but she can do quite the belly dance. She is truly amazing....

Just something else to brag about....
Today my little boy decided to start waving. This is SO exciting. I love when they really start understanding what is going on and try so hard to express themselves and copy what they are seeing. I couldn't help but post this little clip.
**Just push play...for some reason the screen starts out black.

I'm a Princess too...
So, I saw this quiz on a blog and thought it was great! So, if anyone is interested, here it is. Let's see what kind of princess we all are....
By the way, not really sure that all of this applies, but whatever. I don't mind being little Cinderelly!!
You Are Cinderella!
Dignified and hard working. With a gentle and soft-spoken manner you have something many people don't. Patience. Even through the moments of heartbreak you're still able to hold onto all of your hopes and dreams. Bide your time; your dream will come true.
Which Disney Princess Are You?

My Baby "A" is 8 months old...

Well, here we are on the countdown to the 1st birthday. January seems so far away, but honestly!! I can't believe my little fella is 8 months old!!! Why do they have to grow this fast? Probably for sanity's sake. Aidan's tricks this past month include: Crawling (Yay!) Sprouting 2 teeth, crying when I leave the room, laughing more and more at his silly sisters, pulling himself up to furniture (only on his knees) and drinking from the cup in the bath tub...(actually not my favorite trick, but what can you do?). He is a busy little guy that gives us a lot to do around here. He makes us so happy and we love him to pieces! Spoiled little monster boy...

Cleaning up for winter...
Today we did a little yard work/harvesting of the garden before winter hits. We probably have only a couple of weekends left around here.... Anyway, we moved the swingset into the shade for the kids to enjoy and then Mike and I did the work--with a little assistance from the girls. This is the kind of success we had from our garden. Not much to brag about--next year right?!?!

Gifts from our Jordan...
My cousin Jordan just got home from his mission about 1 1/2 weeks ago. My girls absolutely LOVE him. He is "their" Jordan. Anyway, he brought them some souveniers from the Mexico, Monterrey mission where he served and we couldn't be more tickled by it all. He also sent them some purses while he was gone that were so adorable with their names burned on them and they love those so much. It has made for some great show and tell--both at our home and at school. We are SO happy he is home and look forward to any time he is able to spend with us.

I love to see the Temple...

Tonight for single parent FHE (Mike works most Monday nights) I decided to take the kids up to the temple before the snow decides to fall. I have wanted to take them up there for picture opportunities and so tonight on a whim I did it. It was a great time and we had a lot of fun. The girls loved being up there and the grounds are so beautiful. I love having the temple so nearby and I love that my kids were able to go inside during the open house. They talk about going back in all the time. It is such a wonderful goal for them to have. Below are the pics of how it really was trying to get 3 tired and wild kids to cooperate for pics. It is always a great time trying to get a crawling baby to hold still for a photo op.
He's pretty sneaky wouldn't you say? Look how mean he is when he thinks we are trying to make him do what we want and then look at his little smile when he thinks he is getting away...
